Great book. Well bound

Great book. Well bound, and the subject is classical and valuable. The layout could be a little better- the prints could be next to the descriptions- and having the German available as well as the translation would be nice- however it's already a pretty big book and I can see why these things were left out. It's very worth buying if you are interested in the German style of Longsword or Joachim Meyer's work.

This is an excellent, high-quality book

This work by Joachim Meyer is really the culmination of about 200 years of the Johannes Liechtenauer German Longsword Martial Arts tradition. What Johannes Liechtenauer started in the late 1300s (We don't know the exact dates of his life.) Joachim Meyer brings to its zenith in the year 1570 with this work. This is an excellent, high-quality book. Add if you want to become serious about this subject, this is a must-have book.

This is a direct translation from Meyers original Manuscript. So it is a bit rough, a bit vague at times. However this allows you to discern the material and come up with you own opinions. If you are a HEMA journey man, this is a must have. Who knows when another copy will be printed so grab it now!
