Alan Davidson is an associate professor in the School of Health and Exercise Sciences at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. He has served as the dean of the Faculty of Health and Social Development at Okanagan University College, director of the Population and Health Services Research Centre, and director of Health Services for the Yukon government.

Read this if you need answers to help solve the medical crisis.

This is an excellent review of issues which affect individuals when they make medical and health maintenance choices. In today's environment of "the business of health care" it is wise to consider what happens to the patient when he or she leaves the medical clinic. Why do they take their prescribed medication? Why don't they return for their appointment? Do they have insurance? Did they call the doctor about their test results? All of these concerns are addressed very well within this publication.
